*Housing and Domestic Violence Task Force* Underway:
Report of Findings and Presentation of Recommendations
in early 2007
The Housing and Domestic Violence Task Force initiated
by New Destiny and co-convened by United Way and Enterprise
Community Partners launched in June 2006. The Task
Force whose members are government representatives,
academics, legislative staff, and domestic violence,
homeless and housing advocates is currently meeting
to shape recommendations to present to Mayor Bloomberg.
The goal of the Task Force is to increase the permanent
housing resources for domestic violence survivors in
New York City.

advocates helping domestic violence survivors to
access safe permanent housing.
