Family Support Program

Safe affordable housing is a dire necessity for women and children leaving the domestic violence shelter system, but housing is just the first step in the journey to recovery. All families can benefit from a housing environment that encourages stability, provides appropriate supports and encourages healing, independence and self-sufficiency.

New Destiny's Family Support Program is integrated into its permanent housing development model. It is designed to empower residents and offer them the support they need to help build a better tomorrow for themselves and their children.

New Destiny's Family Support Program offers:

• Individualized support & coaching
• Public benefits management
• Children's programming
• Workshops (e.g., health, financial literacy)
• Job search & readiness support
• Family activities and social events
• Referrals to specialized services (e.g., legal programs and job training)
